Islanders Business Club Advisory Board Member Karen A. Rotgin, Esq. was planning to move her legal practice from the Empire State Building in New York City to Nassau County and Islander’s Country. As a member of our Advisory Board, Mrs. Rotgin knew that the first place to look for help with her transition was our existing IBC directory of companies.
“My first phone call was to Carlton Wenz from RexCorp to see what type of space was available and what pricing options were available to me,” said Mrs. Rotgin. Carlton found some great space for Karen and the two worked out a very favorable lease.
Once her space had been finalized Karen then searched the IBC directory for a member company who could move the office and her staff. She reached out to Richard Renner from Arrow Storage and Transport. Rich and his team were more than willing to help and laid out for Karen all of the necessary logistics involved in moving her company.
Lastly, Karen needed to make sure that she would limit the amount of down time her office would face once the move was set. She wanted to make sure they could be up and running and functioning immediately. Karen contacted Jeff Bloom from Manhattan Business Systems and Adam Scham from Sandwire. Jeff and Adam worked directly with Karen, her staff and with Carlton Wenz to insure that everything she would need from a technological standpoint would be ready when the move was made.
“The relationships I was able to lean on as a result of my association with the Islanders Business Club were tremendous and made moving my company a lot easier than I ever anticipated,” said Karen A. Rotgin, Esq.
“The Islanders Business Club and our network of resources and professionals were instrumental in helping Karen and her company put together a successful move,” said IBC Executive Director Mike Bossy. “Doing it professionally and at very competitive prices made it that much more successful.”
